Fungal contamination

The most common form of fungal contamination in an HVAC system is mould. However, yeast is often found within an HVAC system and will require remedial work.

Fungi tend to grow in colonies and are often green or black.

The fungus will require nutrients and moisture to survive and thrive.

Fungal contamination produces spores which deposit themselves on HVAC filters.
