Comply with Australian standards A.S 3666.2-2011 (HVAC & Duct Cleaning) and A.S. 1851-2005 (Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning) or be exposed to unacceptable risk.
Air ducts collect contaminants & dust that will eventually restrict airflow & negatively affect indoor air quality. We clean ducts as part of our standard HVAC Cleaning service.
Our HVAC Cleaning Program will ensure you are always compliant with 3666.2-2011 which outlines a minimum set of requirements for the cleaning of building HVAC systems including:
Moisture accumulating on the surface of coils in the Air Handling Unit provides the ideal environment for Biofilm & Bacteria to grow. We inspect and clean the AHU coil whenever neccessary.
Save money by replacing dirty filters with high performing recycled filters. Our environmentally friendly patented clenaing system cleans through to the filter core.
Our 'Muck Sucker' units are fully designed and manufactured in Australia. They capture and remove air-borne fumes. odours & particles from circulation throughout the building.
Although Australian Standard AS 3666.2 details that HVAC ducts & coils should be inspected monthly, in practice this is not always necessary. A professional HVAC cleaning company like Clean Air Filtration Services will be able to advise you on how frequent your HVAC ducts should be inspected in order to comply with the standard.
The relevant standard, AS 3666.2 specifies that ducts and coils are cleaned \’when necessary\’. In practice, for most systems, this would be once per year at least.
