Terms and Conditions

1. Please ensure staff on duty are aware of your booking. If our team arrives at your premises at the agreed time and find it closed or are turned away, YOU WILL BE CHARGED A CALL OUT FEE OF $450.00 plus GST.

2. Complaints must be reported within 3 days from the date of service via email accounts@cleanair.com.au, preferably accompanied by photos – otherwise no responsibility will be accepted by Clean Air Filtration.

3. Burners and pilot lights should be turned off at an appropriate time before the arrival of our Clean Air Filtration team. We advise a minimum of 2 hours. If surfaces are deemed too hot for our team to work on you will be charged a minimum call out fee of $360.00 plus GST. 

4. Clear the cooktop and benches and cover anything that cannot be removed. Whilst every effort will be made to protect kitchen surfaces from “FALLOUT” using drop sheets, it is not uncommon for grease to come into contact with some surfaces. Every effort will be made to leave the area as clean as possible. Please keep in mind that Clean Air Filtration staff are removing months or years (in some cases) of built-up grease and oil, and therefore some grease “FALLOUT” may occur.

5. Where severe blackening has occurred in/on your canopy or duct we will try and get a bare metal finish but be advised in some cases we may not be able to do so due to age of system and/or level of blackening.

6. Duct riser – anchor points are strictly the customers responsibility. Clean Air Filtration may be able to refer you (the customer) to a reputable company. Clean Air Filtration will not act as a third party. No work will be entered into unless a certificate is produced after all the appropriate testing has been carried out on the anchor points.

7. If the canopies are fitted with automatic fire suppressors, it is the client’s responsibility to arrange that they are isolated before our arrival.

8. Please note that Clean Air Filtration payment terms are strictly 30 days EOM. If your account is not paid promptly, it will be placed in the hands of a debt collection agency and all associated costs will be charged onto you (the customer).

9. A certificate of compliance cannot be issued until a full kitchen exhaust system clean is completed i.e. canopy, ductwork (internal and any external) and fans.

10. Deep kitchen cleans require a level of involvement from you (the customer). You are to ensure that all obstacles are removed. Cover any items that cannot be removed and that might be affected by the cleaning we carry out.

11. If any mechanical or electrical problems exist in your system, Clean Air Filtration are not qualified to make repairs. Any observed issues will be reported to you (the customer).

12. Quoted prices will remain valid for one year, after which time they are subject to increase without notice.

13. All costs incurred by Clean Air Filtration for inductions will be charged back to the you (the customer).

14. Please note this quotation is based on the initial inspection and service. Any further work that needs to be carried out to make the system compliant will be quoted separately as a variation. A certificate of compliance will not be issued until Clean Air Filtration is satisfied that a compliant standard has been reached.
